The Land pavilion at Epcot houses four dynamic hydroponic greenhouses filled with all types of edible plants. At my internship I worked in these greenhouses and had two main roles. The first one was to maintain the propagation greenhouse by scheduling seeding, checking germination rates, watering and performing basic plant chores. The second part of my job was to be a tour guide! In this role I lead groups of guests around the greenhouses for an educational interactive tour.

This is my home! My parents established the orchard in 1985 and I have been working on the farm since I was a little farm girl. The bulk of the work includes talking and informing customers through our Pick Your Own operation. Harvesting, pruning, caring for a small beef herd and running farm equipment are other areas where I have experience.
