I started in the Psychiatric and Mental Health field and then trained to become a School Bus Driver which I enjoyed for 15 years then took on the position of Safety and Training Manager in 2019. Safety has always been front and centre in my occupations. I work to keep our company, Drivers and Monitors compliant with contractual, provincial and federal set regulations. Monitoring our KPI's and working to keep everyone safe is paramount on a daily basis with training sessions throughout our school year. I am charged with accident/injury investigations, working with a JOHS Committees, Covid 19 Protocol, WCB reporting and follow up as well.I stepped into Interim General Manager position in November of 2022 and as of August 5th, 2023 became LM for First Student until September 2024.
