As a research leader, my success is only as great as the success of my team. I pride myself in building teams that elevate and support individuals that strive towards building, creating, and sustaining faculty success. All to say, much of what you see below is thanks to the tremendous efforts of those that I have the privilege of working with. In my current position at the University of Arizona my team and I have supported more than $700M in awards to the institution. In previous roles, my research career portfolio includes managing nearly $30 million dollars. My primary project, “State Geological Survey Contributions to the National Geothermal Data System,” (4 years, $22 million) was consistently recognized by the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) Annual Peer Review as one of the best rated projects (2011, 2012, and 2013), from approximately 100 projects, and prominently featured in the 2013 and 2014 DOE GTO Annual Reports.Proven public speaker with presentations in multiple formats, including webinars, town halls, break-out sessions, poster sessions, and plenary sessions at distinguished venues such as the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting, Geological Society of America Annual Meeting, European Geosciences Union, and Stanford Geothermal Reservoir Engineering Workshop.
