Adjunct lecturer teaching credited evening courses in Introduction to Desktop Computing, Systems Analysis, and Web Page Design.

-Responsible for all aspects of the Colleges Web presence including overall site design, development, hosting, and daily maintenance (site consisted of 6,000+ pages).-Sole designer for a complete site redesign in 2004. Handled everything from start to finish: developing a new site structure/navigation, designing the site layout, completing the site build, database integration, testing and deployment. -Built the Colleges’ first stand-alone Admissions site (discoverdelval.com); developed various monthly email campaigns; redesigned the Colleges’ intranet.-Developed Web policies and standards as a member of the Colleges’ Information Systems Planning Committee; chaired the Colleges Web Excellence Committee.

Taught credit weekend and evening courses in Information Technology Concepts/Computer Applications, Intermediate Computer Applications, Web Design, and E-Commerce. Plus, Microsoft Office certification courses.

Taught non-credit professional development courses in Creating Web Pages Using HTML, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, Excel 2003: Introduction, Access 2003: Introduction.

-Presented courses designed to train students from a variety of technical backgrounds, including Certified Internet Webmaster Foundations class and Macromedia Certified Dreamweaver Training.-Designed and produced course lessons and materials.-Instructed students in classroom and small group settings.

-Responsible for Web/multimedia development, graphic design, Internet marketing and Web positioning.-Created/manipulated graphics and used HTML, Perl, and Javascript to create Web sites with a focus on consistent design and easy-to-use navigation.-Created detailed site specifications, proposals, and site maps.-Responsible for all updates to Company Web site, and maintenance of existing clients’ sites.-Provided on-going maintenance for all clients under maintenance contracts.-Optimized existing clients’ sites for better placement with search engines.
