The experience taught me agile, product and customer focus long before they were well-adopted methodologies, and I am eternally grateful for the mentors and colleagues that I had the good-fortune to begin my career with that shaped the successful approaches that I carry forward to this day.Over the years, I’ve since successfully innovated and launched several B2B applications - Colleague Advantage for Hyatt’s front desk and MyCollette for self-service tour management at Collette. I’ve developed API frameworks for micro web services, enhancing real-time data delivery and system efficiency. My CRM experience includes guest profile systems using Informatica MDM and Salesforce integration.My design approach keeps customers at the heart of everything we do and combines strong intuitive insight with data analysis to uncover genuine problems, leading to solutions that customers can’t imagine living without. In this role, I managed both legacy systems and innovated new solutions. We successfully expanded the local team into a 22-member global unit, driving transformation, collaboration, increasing automation, and transitioning to a customer-centric, agile Digital Product model.I innovated a new self-service B2B digital product known as MyCollette, catering to the self-service needs of travel agents and group leaders working with the company. From the very beginning, I witnessed the transformative power of true teamwork and collaboration and was lucky enough to learn strong leadership skills from the very beginning of my career from some amazingly strong mentors and leaders. Within 9 months, we successfully developed and launched the system and earned a prestigious CIO Magazine Best Business Application Award.I ultimately took ownership of leading and building the development team for the system and managing system enhancement design directly with the Call Center business teams.My role was also pivotal in supporting the sale and adoption of the CRS by other hotel chains and I was responsible for the technology training, customization and implementation of the system for LaQuinta Hotels.I was promoted 5 positions during my tenure and was very proud to be peer-nominated as the first-ever Employee of the Year for the Technical Center.
