As a Commercial Insurance Fianancial Lines Specialist, I am responsible for:* the handling and processing into the claim of all settlement and other checks and payments received for claims. *Training of colleagues in financial processing in claims systems such as ClaimVision, LINES, Claim Connect and Claim Care. *Fielding inquiries and addressing concerns of attorneys, claims handlers, and other interested parties.*Reviewing monthly reports for duplicate payments and addressing the collecting of refund payments due the company if duplicates are found.*Reviewing and correcting the Financial Error Log in the ClaimVision financial system. *Other special projects such as training of off-shore personnel as assigned to me by management. *Researching claim checks which arrive with insufficient information to be processed and working with our other departments to locate which department and under which claim or account they should be processed.
