Managed a staff of 10 MT, MLT and phlebotomists, successfully passed Joint Commission and CAP accreditation having never worked under this type of accreditation before. Operated the laboratory in the black and with very little personnel turnover.

CLIA Designee, Laboratory Generalist in 18 physician clinic. I was an active member of ThedaCare System Laboratory Education Advisory and EPIC ancillary cmmittees. Participated in LEAN events and value stream events.

I began working in Radiology in 1985 and when an opening was available in laboratory and went to work as a generalist. When the Manager left I applied for the position since I had passed the HHS exam a few years before, I was designated as a Clinical Laboratory Technician. I supervised MTs, MLTs, and trained several phlebotomists so they could be certified. Laboratory equipment purchase, budget, scheduling, and QA were just a few of my duties.
