Clinic Manager and co-creator of mxn Men’s Therapy Network, Kim also has a busy counselling practice in Duncan. Her previous work as a counsellor at a specialized centre for men’s mental health and an extensive background in business inspired Kim’s decision to launch mxn Men’s Therapy Network. Her goal is to support those who have experienced emotional, sexual, or physical trauma via her team of affordable, trauma informed Counsellors. Kim has presented internationally and locally, and led or co-facilitated many groups, including You Are Not Alone: Stage 1 Trauma Recovery, her 8 week program Mindfulness: Living in the Now, and leadership development workshops. A mountain biker, rower and general lover of nature, Kim humbly acknowledges that she lives, plays and works on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish, Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.

My approach to counselling is flexible, client centred, and strengths-based. This means I will work with you to help you find your resilience and realize your personal strengths. We will work together from this foundation to help you discover and resolve the areas of your life you want to change. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a master's degree in conflict analysis and management, as well as extensive master's level education in counselling psychology. I focus on working in the areas of trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress. My office is in Duncan, BC, and I also offer secure video sessions via Zoom for Healthcare, and Walk and Talk sessions if you’d like to take your conversations outdoors! Each session is typically 50 minutes, however the initial session may be a few minutes longer, depending on paperwork. I offer a free 15 minute meeting for first time clients so we can talk and you can decide if we are a fit to work together towards your goals.My offices are in Duncan and Colwood, BC. In Colwood I manage and work at mxn Men’s Therapy Network.

Conflict Management Consulting may consist of helping an organization investigate and resolve ongoing employee issues, facilitation of meetings/workshops, or analysis and development of policy and procedures. I also offer services to educate employers and their employees about proactively addressing mental health in the workplace. Conflict management services are contracted after discussion, analysis and planning to ensure your specific organizational needs are met.
