Kim Munck Jeppesen has from August 1st 2015 to June the 28th 2017 been hired as a student helper in the research project Future Patient at Laboratory for Welfare Technologies - Telehealth & Telerehabilitation, SMI, Department of Health Science and Technology at Aalborg University.During this period Kim has been actively involved in the conduction and design of two pilot studies resulting in two articles, where Kim is first author of one. Other tasks included investigation of API used with self-trackers such as Fitbit and writing manuals for equipment used by patients in a large RCT study. He has also been responsible for implementing interactive graphical representations of patient data at a portal for heart patients named Hjerteportalen.dk.During the last year of his hiring Kim was responsible for assembling of the equipment used in the RCT study. This task also included support for the project nurse, managing inventory, planning distribution of tasks and maintaining an overview of the projects progress.
