Kim is very passionate about cultivating community, inspiring educators and placing children at the heart of our educational process. She believes that relationships are key in coming together as a community and embracing the whole family. Kim values providing aesthetically beautiful environments and inspiring opportunities for both children and teachers to engage, explore and learn in. Kim has dedicated more than thirty years of her life to studying and implementing the most developmentally appropriate and culturally inclusive ways to work with children, their families, and educators. She is a visionary for operational growth and a successful organizational change agent. She holds two child development related degrees that include an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education from Cuesta College, a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and she recently completed a master’s degree in Educational Administration at San Francisco State University.Kim has been a mentor, coach, facilitator and consultant. She has studied and implemented reflective practice for many years and traveled to Canada, New Zealand and Italy to deepen her understanding of this practice. In Kim’s free time, she spends time with family, including her two dogs, and enjoys following professional sports through the seasons with her husband.
