Kim Parr is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has over thirty years of museum experience that includes direction of all museum operations, special programs, archival and collection management, marketing, fundraising, grant writing, sponsorship proposals, research and writing, public speaking, restoration, and preservation projects that include buildings and artifacts. Kim started working as the Collections Curator for the Packard Proving Grounds Historical Site in April 2022 and is currently working there full-time. She worked as curator of the Selinsky-Green Farmhouse in St. Clair Shores, Michigan between 2021 and March of 2023. Kim was director of the Macomb County Historical Society and its Crocker House Museum for 19 years and started the museum studies program at the University of Detroit–Mercy. Also, worked as Living History On-Site Coordinator at Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village for nine years for eras 1750s - 1900. Kim was part of the founding staff of the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan; serving as its Manager of Marketing and Sales. Kim is also, fluent in the German language; having worked in Hitler's barracks in Nürnberg and studied at the Universität Bielefeld.
