Mantua Sewing Studio provides local, ethical and high quality design and manufacturing for Australian clothing labels drawing on the expertise of women from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

The Multicultural Sports Club (MSC) is an initiative of Multicultural Youth QLD (under the parent organisation Accesss Community Services) that aims to provide soft entry participation and training and qualification opportunities for young people (aged 0-25 years) from muticultural backgrounds. My role as Sport and Recreation Coordinator includes:- Developing, delivering and overseeing a range of soft-entry sport and recreation programs- Developing and delivering sport-related training and qualification opportunities for youth, including our award-winning Coach and Officiating Development Programs.- Developing relationships with a range of stakeholders in the community and sport and recreation industry. - Managing a diverse team of paid employees, students and volunteers. - Working with the Sport and Recreation Manager to develop strategies and plans for growth. - Sourcing funding from a variety of sources, including preparing grant applications and sponsorship proposals. - Developing all marketing materials and identifying opportunities to raise awareness of the MSC. - Managing day to day finances, including developing and reporting against an annual budget.

Return Serve is a not-for-profit organisation that uses sport to create opportunities in the community for people of all abilities and backgrounds, in particular, groups who are experiencing disadvantage or barriers to inclusion. As the first and only employee of Return Serve, this role involved growing a small not-for-profit from the ground up and managing all aspects of its operations, including:- Managed and delivered community-based sports programs to a range of participant groups from marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds. - Developed relationships with a range of stakeholders in the community. - Recruited, trained and managed a diverse team of volunteers. - Developed all policies, procedures and risk management strategies. - Planned and implemented annual plans and three year vision strategies for the organisation. - Sourced funding from a variety of sources, including grants, corporate sponsorship and fundraising activities. - Managed our semi-pro tennis team in a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the organisation. - Developed all marketing materials and managing all marketing and communications activities. - Managed day to day finances, including developing an annual budget and reporting against the budget on a monthly basis.

Dreamfit Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that made the dreams of people with disabilities possible through innovative equipment solutions. As Communications Manager, I was responsible for all aspects of marketing and communications, including a complete rebrand and building of a new website, building brand awareness, and production of all communications materials including graphic design, marketing videos etc. I was also responsible for working alongside the Operations Manager to seek funding sources for the organisation and prepare grant applications. As Dreams Manager, I was responsible for developing the new ‘Dream Program’ from the ground up, including all processes and procedures. I also coordinated all clients and managed the relationship between the client and the Engineering team and engaged the diverse network of family, therapists and case managers associated with each client. I also played a key role in planning, organising and running of a range of recreational programs and events.

Managed one of the six departments in a leading leisure facility, including developing, planning, and delivering a range of recreational programmes and events to meet the needs of children and young people in the community, such as, holiday programs and youth nights.

Rockfall Bead Design produced unique, handcrafted beaded jewellery. Over the years, the business evolved into also delivering beading parties, particularly for children's birthdays and was rebranded as Bead Me Happy.

Initially joined Karori Pool as a part-time Aquatic Education Instructor and worked up to managing a Swim School of 1100 students and a team of 25 Aquatic Education and Aqua Fitness Instructors. My greatest passion while employed was developing and delivering specialised programs for children living with a disability.
