I am charged with designing and implementing a comprehensive strategic development program for the Diocese of Harrisburg. From strategies for engagement, to increasing awareness about the Diocesan Annual Campaign to working with donors who use complex assets to make gifts, my work impacts so many in our Diocese. I'm working with schools, parishes and other entities to identify and implement best practices so that they can advance their missions and reach their philanthropic goals. • Utilize data points to gather parish and donor insights to help lead informed campaigns • Oversee and coordinate strategic directives for the Diocese• Engage key stakeholders / donors / supporters on a continual basis to establish effective communications and go forward strategies• Implements new marketing and outreach strategies for the annual appeal to secure larger gifts from donors to reach our goals despite challenges of last few years • Leads transition from outdated software to Raiser’s Edge NXT, which has empowered parishes to be more involved in their success • Designs new reporting structures and reports to maximize efficiency• Creates custom reports for each parish to monitor progress toward goals for all giving • Increases revenue for annual seminarian education collection with a combination of email and social media outreach • Implements new stewardship pieces to showcase impact of philanthropy • Leeds professional development workshops for Diocesan school fundraising staff on best practices and new opportunities for giving • Collaborates with Department of Education on tax credit award process from gift recording, to reporting to schools and state organization • Serves as a resource for parishes and schools who are planning Capital campaigns In FY 21, the Office of Stewardship & Development received, processed and recorded more than $17M in charitable gifts to the Diocese, it’s parishes and schools.
