Responsibilities include creating customer accounts and maintaining them. Allocating cash against customers’ accounts. Logging customer enquiries and sending delivery tickets to enable them to pay invoices. Answering the phone and dealing with customer enquiries when necessary. Checking cash sale sheets and matching receipts to make sure that they balance to any money received. Chasing remits to help allocate cash to assist credit control team and sending statements or excel spreadsheets with account details. I also help produce reports on outstanding queries for the company and outstanding unallocated cash on customer’s accounts.

As an under manager it is was my responsibility to assist the manager in the running of the branch, To be able to step in and take charge whenever the manager was on holiday or away for any other reasons. Some of the duties involved were monitoring and reporting back target figures, maintaining high standards and creating eye catching window displays, managing staff and motivating them to achieve their maximum potential and targets and offering fantastic customer service so that in return the company received business and custom.

Ran payroll for different companies and produced wage slips to post out to companies. I helped to do bank reconciliations and ran any necessary day to day errands.
