About Kim Siebert

Professional Objective The practice, advocacy and mentoring of professional standards and ethics for museum and conservation practice in the handling of cultural heritage artifacts.  The aim is to facilitate the care, preservation, storage, promotion, study and exhibition of global culture collections in a manner that fosters a respect for the particularity, preservation and universal significance of this material evidence of human culture, creativity and meaning in partnership with communities, now and for generations to come.  Additional strengths include care and treatment of composite objects and textiles in particular, and Preventive Conservation strategic practice for wholist sustainable practice in collection care.Current Institution of employment:  H.O.
