Kim Cox is a member of the senior staff of the Philanthropy Office at St. Philip’s School and Community Center. St. Philip’s, founded in the 1940s as a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, includes an elementary school for children and a community center providing after-school care, a food bank, and other services for the surrounding South Dallas community. Kim holds dual responsibilities at St. Philip’s: she is both the Volunteer Coordinator as well as the Executive Campaign Assistant for the “We Believe” Campaign. As Volunteer Coordinator, Kim recruits, trains, and supervises hundreds of individuals from dozens of businesses and other organizations all over the city who volunteer time each year at St. Philip’s. As Executive Campaign Assistant for the “We Believe” Campaign, Kim develops and implements strategies on behalf of the Campaign’s volunteer Co-Chairs, Campaign Consultant, and Cabinet members, who are working along with St. Philip’s leadership team at the start of the third year of St. Philip’s ambitious five-year, fifty-million-dollar capital campaign. Before taking her position at St. Philip’s, Kim served for two decades in a variety of senior marketing and business-strategy positions in the financial services industry.
