I am honored to have the responsibility for the day to day operations in a multi-office setting for the largest Medicaid based In Home and Consumer Directed Services program in Southwest Missouri, with oversight of more than 2000 clients, 750+ field nurses and aides, and 40+ office staff throughout 42 counties. As Executive Director, my position requires extensive operational oversight, including strategic planning, growth through business development, recruitment oversight, budgeting, policy development and revision, program advocacy on a local and state level, including legislative testimony and individual education to ensure lawmakers understand the value of our program and ensure we have a voice in policies directly impacting our industry. As with any governmental program, quality compliance with both regulatory guidelines and standards of excellence is critical and requires continued research as well as being engrained in the provider community, maintaining partner relationships, using benchmarks to ensure we are ahead of the expectations and evaluating the need for continued program development ensuring we are poised for the future!
