Responsible for the Quality and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) for the Pandrol test labs here in Worksop, the HQ offices in Addlestone, Surrey and the Pandrol Group operating companies around the world. Responsible for the technical specification documents for Pandrol brand products, defining the manufacturing and inspection requirements to support the drawings, for each product type. Responsible for developing and delivering a training programme to provide new technicians to the Pandrol Technical Department with the engineering skills and academic qualifications necessary.Reporting to the Technical Director I have 3 reports.

I have participated in various roles within UK and International Committees, mainly relating to standards for dimensioning, tolerancing, geometrical product specification (GPS) and technical product documents (TPD), (engineering design and technical drawings). I have also participated in the development of environmental management and product safety standards for machinery.I have been chairman of committees at National and International level, and been responsible for drafting, developing and publishing BS and ISO standards, including versions of BS 8888 and ISO 23605.I led the UK National committee to develop a training and certification scheme for designers relating to BS 8888.I also wrote the ISO Standards Handbook "Technical Product Specification (TPS)" available from ISO.

Worked on company internal engineering standards documents, company design standards and associated awareness training. Also looked after local and JCB Group quality and environmental management system standards and procedures to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
