After a long and successful career as an Executive for Carlson Marketing's Meeting & Events division, I have moved on to pursue a lifetime vision of being an international interior designer. My extensive travels and interaction with a long list of cultures combined with my strong creative abilities, project management and leadership skills made this a natural transition. After graduating from the Art Institute, Minneapolis, I immediately began designing for CRS Interiors, currently known as the design division of Charles R Stinson Architecture & Design. As Lead Designer I have the opportunity to work with the architecture team and clients to design interior and exterior spaces that are unique and customized to the homeowners. A large part of the experience includes the collaborative exchange with clients to define their design preferences and home lifestyle needs, then translating all into a strategic design plan that can be interpreted by builders, sub-contractors and the homeowners. Implementing the design includes project managing the build-out, sourcing and procuring materials, finishes and furnishings and overseeing the installation of all interior elements.
