I have ten years of account management experience where I maintained a minimum 95% retention rate on a $1M+ book of business of middle market employee benefits clients. This retention involved managing Executive level Human Resources relationships along with benefit carrier relationships and internal support teams. I prepared presentations at both the Executive and employee level for strategic discussions, renewals, Compliance and open enrollment and/or educational purposes. With strategic retention as a main focus, staying abreast of market trends and changes allowed me to hold meaningful conversations timely and allow for my clients to implement new benefits and build their own internal retention programs amid a hiring crisis mid-and-post-pandemic.In my current role as a Sales Executive/Strategic Retention Manager, I manage the retention strategy of the current Health and Government Market book of business at VSP Vision Care. Working closely with internal business units, I am able to collaborate on new initiatives that will further improve vision access for all members. My communication, problem solving, creative thinking and leadership skills bring a unique perspective to retention strategies for managed care organizations.
