Stretch, now known as Elevator Agency, is an amazing company helping brands to engage their target audience in amazing new hands-on ways with unique and once off experiential marketing campaigns.At Stretch I worked closely with our creative team and account managers to plan things like the Tea-mometer that read visitors body temperatures and dispensed ice cold, ice tea depending on how 'hot' they were. I led a production team to pull these kinds of crazy idea's together. The Design Indaba is an institution in South Africa -bringing revolutionary idea's from all of the world to inspire local minds. The Design Indaba Expo was the platform where we hosted to showcase local design in an annual Exhibition.As the Production Manager, I pulled together all operational and logistic elements for four Design Indaba Expos. In 2012 I managed 7300m2 of exhibition space, nearly 400 exhibitors and more than 40,000 visitors passed through the doors.

In my four years with Interactive Africa I have been involved in many projects, tours and events that have taken place around the country. Delegates were spoilt with private flights, 5 star hotels and tours of the stadiums during the construction phase.⇨ FIFA and Commercial affiliates Match Tours – International guests of our clients brought to South Africa to enjoy match’s across the country. Put together proposals, budgets, accommodation, travel, entertainment and meals.● Design Indaba Shop⇨ Pop Shop, V&A Shopping Centre – This was a pop up retail offering that was open at the V&A for two months. Negotiated rental agreements, set up point of sales and inventory systems, financial management, managed the branding and production of shop fittings.⇨ Online Shop – A new offering on designindaba.com providing an e-commerce platform for Expo exhibitors. Assisted more than 25 consultancy teams with their administration, and travel needs. Day-to-day role extended from diary and database management to travel, accommodation and client liaison. Team events were also my responsibility, which I ran from planning to implementation.
