Coordinate department workflow for the Credentialing Department to insure department goals and turn around times are met. Audit daily work of verifications staff, run monthly production and error reports for the department. Write and administer annual staff evaluations, monitor and approve employee leave requests. Audit completed files to insure requirements are being met for NCQA and URAC accreditation. Assist and answer questions for the credentialing staff on their daily work. Track weekly production and file intake for the credentialing department. Assist Client Liaisons in handling client questions and concerns.

Provide exceptional customer service to credentialing department clients. Handle client questions and concerns regarding the credentialing process and status of their providers. Provide web portal training to new clients. Track each client's providers to insure turn around times are met. Offer additional services to insure client's credentialing requirements are adequately met.

Research provider applications to insure adequate information is received. Primary source verification of license, DEA, board certification and education through universities, hospitals and National Student Clearinghouse. Maintain provider credentialing information using VerifPoint Services database, CACTUS database and Facets database. Responsible for preparing adverse action files for Credentialing Peer Review Committee. Responsible for proper training of new employees to the department.
