Professional and driven project manager and operational lead with a background in product development and design. My expertise spans project management, operational planning, and process improvement, with a focus on delivering results efficiently and effectively.Although my experience is rooted in the design and tech sectors, I am seeking new challenges, preferably in a sustainable industry. I believe my skills in problem-solving, organisation, and communication are highly transferable across sectors, including innovation in sustainable food, consumer goods, sustainable manufacturing or health & wellness products.In the past five years, I worked at VROEGH Design. I started as a product designer and grew into the role of operational lead. As the first employee hired, I worked alongside the CEO (Bob Vroegh) to grow the company into what it is today. I was involved in all aspects and was a key figure in ensuring the smooth daily operations. This included everything from project management to human resources, as well as data analysis and adjusting strategy accordingly. I worked on the development of urban e-bikes, cargo bikes, various accessories, and speed pedelecs. Naturally, I gravitated more towards the organizational side of design, which led me to further develop myself in this area and progress to operational lead.Before that, I worked for 3 years as a Design Engineer in the Serial Support department at Bosch Thermotechnology in Deventer. Here, I made modifications to existing products. This involved determining technical feasibility, consulting with suppliers and other stakeholders such as certification bodies, conducting quality checks, risk analyses, technical drawings, and coordinating within the organization both nationally and internationally. In this role, I worked with NX9 (Unigraphics), Teamcenter Engineering, and SAP. I applied methods such as FMEA and DRBFM. Communication skills were crucial in this role, as I was a key coordinator within the Serial Support department for implementing changes to existing products.Before this, I completed my studies in Industrial Product Design at HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem. During this program, I designed a product line of kitchen appliances for HEMA, followed a minor in Digital Communication, interned at D-Box Packaging and Remko Spaan Interior Projects, and finally, completed a project at Windo Displays: designing the OutdoorWindo.In 2014, I graduated from the Industrial Product Design program 'with distinction'.
