I started working for Dillard’s back in 2019 as an hourly and commissioned sales associate in ladies shoes. The Covid happened. I was out of the building for five months before I was called to please come back. When I returned, I was placed in jewelry and loved it. Five months later I was promoted to be the Kendra Scott Specialist. Five months after that, I was promoted to the Selling Business Manager Roll in the juniors department. In my first year I had the department fully trained and staffed, revitalized the look of the department, and increased our sales by over a quarter million dollars. Shortly after that, my initial hiring manager was getting married and moving to Chattanooga. A few weeks later I was named the Area Sales Manager of all three shoe departments. I love my position along with the best 16 employees I could ever have.I am truly grateful for all of the positions I have had here. The sky is the limit at Dillard’s. I own my own business Kim Workman Tax Service that I started in 2012. I’m an Tax Preparer for 12years, with a demonstrated history of working in the tax service industry.
