I am Section Manager in Banedanmark's IT Department for the unit InfoDok, which is responsible for application management (F2 Digital Platform and Microsoft 365 apps), support, development and automation projects, and business advising on ECM and VTC systems as well as submissions to the National Archives. The focal point for the unit is the propagation of correct business-oriented use of the systems under the auspices of being a public authority. The systems under my management are designated as business critical and are regulated according to ISO 27001 standards and other regulations. My management style is appreciative, inclusive, and delegating. I know the value of highly motivated and empowered employees and know what is required of a modern manager/servant leader to achieve the goals that I or others have set for me. My leadership toolbox is well equipped and broadened every day. In my latest management evaluation (2024), satisfaction among my employees under my leadership showed a positive score of 6.5 out of 7.Before my management role, I worked as an internal Consultant in the IT department. My main tasks were to support, giving advice, teach, and facilitate the correct use of ECM systems across the company and management layers, as well as ensure mapping, design, and implementation of process optimizations and/or automations within IT - primarily document management, case filing and registration of security incidents.Before my time in the IT department, I dealt with the development and facilitation of collaborative relationships between the private and public sectors. In Banedanmark's Traffic Division, I worked as Key Account Manager and was responsible for creating, maintaining, and developing the professional customer relationship with several of the railway companies that operate on Banedanmark's railway infrastructure. Here I developed my eminent ability in business understanding and holistic view of complex businesses’ end-to-end processes.The future:My future career plans include a continuous development of my current and new competences and skills, so that I can effectively and committedly handle new complex and exciting challenges.
