My broad base of professional experience is the culmination of applying IT solutions in a wide variety of industries including:  Health Care, Life Insurance, Manufacturing, Finance, and Private Education.  In my IT career, I have held two director-level positions. Most recently, I worked on a large-scale ERP project as an IT business consultant for Japan Tobacco International (JTI). I performed several roles in various capacities, including: Business Analyst/Consultant, Product Owner, Software Developer Team Lead, and Software UI/UX Designer.Notable achievements for this project include:• Management of a team of (8-15) developers to deliver a custom payment determination solution for JTI’s Leaf ERP system.• I was selected to lead the development team on subsequent development efforts, from 2014 to 2016, resulting in a far more stable and refined product.• I was called back by JTI in 2017 to lead a new software initiative related to Agricultural Labor Practices, where I performed requirements workshops with end users, developed and documented requirements specifications, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.Summing up the last few years, consulting for JTI: I enable people (and organizations) to articulate their vision for a software product and/or feature, and I further refine these initial concepts via mockups/wire-frames and prototypes into a tangible, viable starting point. From there, I work through the process of user story mapping toward a set of "chunks" that I can bring to the development team.
