I used to not understand when enough is enough. For example, this is my second draft of this summary. In the first draft, I detailed nearly my entire professional career path, including how I honed in on the area of employee benefits and how I love and deliver on analyses and continuous improvement. I also included detailed qualitative and quantitative examples for each role. Instead, I will take a different approach.I think that is important you know that I am a Formula 1 racing fan.I love Formula 1. However, I didn't always appreciate it and asked my husband how he could watch cars go around and around in a circle for a few hours. He scowled, said “they aren't circles,” and suggested that I actually watch a race. Well, I watched a race and was bored out of my skull. He was right. They were not driving in exact circles. That was about it.Then, my husband suggested I look up the drivers and learn about them. I did that, and then looked up the teams the drivers were on, their culture, their history. Then, I learned about the cars' design, the different track layouts, the different race strategies, etc.Now, if a person interested in F1 came to me and asked me to explain it, I would not start with the aerodynamic design of each cars' front wing and why that matters. I also would not summarize each teams' average pit stop to the tenth of a second. Yes, I am armed with that information, but I know to start with the key points and go from there.That is both my analytical and communication style, and how I will approach this and other communications. I will never be able to fully commit to “enough is enough,” but I will treat my role as I treat Formula 1 racing. I know or will know the details and make decisions that are sound, but I also know to tailor my communication and analysis based on the situation and audience I am reaching.Therefore, given that I cannot possibly tailor this with enough detail to satisfy all its audiences, my summary is this. I have over 15 years of experience in various capacities in the employee benefits field. I have demonstrated measurable success in compiling thorough and complete technical, requirement, and financial analyses. Additionally, I have successfully led projects designed to implement operational improvements as well as oversee client management on an ongoing basis.If that is enough for you as you read this summary, then I have done my job and enough is enough. If not, I am armed with those details, along with each Formula 1 team's average pit stop to the tenth of a second should it come up.
