My involvement begins at the proposal phase and ends at launch. I utilize both waterfall and agile processes depending on the project. I am often testing out new client exercises for research and discovery purposes in order to bring about better results. For all projects, I advocate for decisions that lead to a mobile-first, high speed, and simple yet beautiful, on-brand user experience.

Create Upstate is a design conference that brings reputable design figures to the upstate New York region to bring their knowledge and inspiration to the local design community. Networking and collaboration are largely focused on as well through frequent interactive sessions between speakers. Additionally, this year's conference is held in Ithaca, NY with increased goals to promote our region's best makers, designers, and craftsmen in the style of an outdoor open-to-the-public street fair. The street fair will utliize unique attractions and venues to harness the eccentricity of downtown Ithaca, and encourage attendees to adventure outside of our conference zone all throughout the weekend.Specifically, my role involve being a local facilitator to the core team behind Create Upstate, as well as bring my local knowledge and ideas to the planning of this year's street fair, coordinating vendor applications, on-site promotion materials, and operating the street fair on event day.

Tasked with guiding first year students to a clear understanding of what graphic design is, the important historical movements that brought it's industry to where it stands in the present day, as well as educate them on the fundamental principles of design, and the design process. Create a curriculum within the school's pre-existing structure that achieves all of these goals in an enjoyable, creative, and long-lasting way.
