I was part of an Award-Winning Talk Show responsible for news selection and placement; I brought to the table an "on-air personality" bonded to delivering the news as well as provide on-air talent for a very "male-based" Nationally Syndicated radio talk show. Taking part in the "morning-drive" of live radio in addition to news, I offered the female perspective on the show and made guest appearances as well as m-c'd major events. I did “remote” broadcasts for select clients and even endorsed products for these clients. During my run with Lex & Terry I volunteered for charitable events and presided as Public Affairs Director for our local affiliates, depending on which market we were in at the time.

On FCN I covered breaking news for quite some time, as well as prepared “packages” for live broadcasts in which I reported. Daily requirements meant meeting timely deadlines to provide accurate and credible news pieces. I was responsible for selecting creative story ideas of local and national interest. I also conducted interviews ranging from the US President to the local homeless. I acted on behalf of local charities and non-profit organizations. Interviews of interest include: George W. Bush, John Kerry, Mikhail Gorbachev, Benazir Bhutto and John Ashcroft to name a few.

At Newstalk 690 WOKV, I was an Award-Winning Field Reporter for daily news events within the metropolitan statistical area together with anchoring the Jacksonville Morning News drive and afternoon casts. I covered all breaking news for “top-of-the-hour” deadlines and prepared news packages incorporating interviews and natural sound. During this time, I established working contacts with all pertinent city officials and my local areas of concentration included Duval County Public Schools, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Military and City Hall.
