Kimber Underdown is a dedicated, passionate educator with experience in educating all grade levels of students from preschool through college level. She has a love for students with special needs and spent 21 years as a special educator, focusing on students with ASD, EBD, SLD, and ID/developmental disabilities. Kimber now shares her experience with these students as a university faculty member for teacher candidates. She teaches online courses in a teacher preparation program at GCU. She is also the content lead for special education and has experience with teacher support, leadership in schools, professional development, and is expanding her research repertoire. Kimber has presented at three recent conferences and is preparing for future conference presentations and a publication. Kimber also has experience with curriculum development, course revisions, and is currently a part of a team working on custom course content. Kimber's goals include future publications, presentations, and leadership roles in her community of faculty members.
