• As the department manager for Physician Business Managers, my role is to ensure the success of our network of contracted physicians. This involves overseeing staff development, including hiring, training, coaching, and growth. I delegate, monitor, and control work progress on key metrics, initiatives/action plans, staff productivity, and administrative expenses. My MRA (Medicare Risk Adjustment) and HEDIS STAR expertise allow me to effectively manage our largest contracted groups and facilitate JOC Meetings. • I also participate in developing and implementing systems that support network operations and network management. In a Matrix environment, I maintain effective network support services by working collaboratively with the Medical Director, Regional Team, Clinic Operations, and other corporate departments. I handle complex and/or difficult provider inquiries and/or problems and facilitate the resolution of provider issues, ensuring that favorable relationships are maintained while prioritizing the interests of the organization. • I work with relevant internal stakeholders to identify obstacles and barriers identified by providers and methods for removing them. My coaching skills enable me to develop staff to facilitate strategic business meetings with physician groups and their staff.• I also assist with and manage business projections, forecasting, and budgets, both financially and with timelines, for assigned projects. Additionally, I facilitate provider discussions and assist in negotiating a resolution to escalated provider issues, with the capability to determine if/when issues require escalation.
