To assist victims of natural and man made disasters nationwide. I go out to sites that have been damaged or destroyed, due to fire, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, or man made such as explosions, WMD, etc., to determine what our clients need to make sure that their immediate disaster needs are meet, like food, shelter, clothing.

I instruct new Disaster Action Team members how to respond to a disaster, which paperwork they will need to fill out, how to get our clients what they need to meet their immediate disaster related needs. I also go over updated information with our team members on a monthly basis during a DAT meeting.

I keep the media informed of local and national American Red Cross deployment. I let the media what it is that the American Red Cross is doing or going to be doing to help out our clients that have become the victims of disasters.

I take over the class schedule so the classroom runs smoothly. Wherever the regular teacher left off, is where I start teaching. When the regular teacher needs to take off for a day or two at a time, I step in as their replacement. I teach every grade level from 1st grade to 12th grade, which takes a great deal of ability to adapt. I love this job and all.

I am on the trauma team, so I set up suture trays and assist with the sutures, I do EKG's and draw blood. I also perform CPR and control any major bleeding. When it is all said and done, I just turn to my patients to see if there is anything else that I can do for them before I leave the room.

I support the Victim Assistance Unit Team by going to Court with victims of violent crimes or to the hospital. I get the right type of counseling that the victims need to their specific need. I did a great deal of filing paper work so that crimes could be investigated properly. I did a lot of heavy computer work, and phone support. Talking to the victims.

I was a street officer that made arrests, took reports, and responded to dispatched runs. I ran radar along main streets, and helped out with community events. There was a lot of customer service involved as I interacted with the citizens of Homecroft, and I filed daily reports at the end of each shift. The only reason I left there was because in September.

Very heavy computer skills were required. I did a lot of filing. I called court to session, I called court to recess, I called cases up for the judge to hear. While I was in the courtroom, I was the Judge's right hand person. Anything he or she needed, is what I did. The only reason I left that job was because in September I became ill with breast cancer.

I was charged with the security of the City County Building, and with the protection of all who worked or visited there. The only reason I left that job was for a better paying one with the Marion County Supreme Courts as a Bailiff.
