About Kimberley Cooper

A dedicated, energetic and positive teaching professional, with curriculum specialism in Design and Technology, STEAM, the arts and outdoor learning and pedagogical specialism in metacognition, process-led, child-centred approaches.With a Masters in Education, Kimberley has successfully transformed EYFS programmes, coordinated the re-organisation of curricular, leading INSETS and pedagogy. She has developed a ground-breaking Lower School D&T Department and following her Forest School qualifications has facilitated forest and outdoor learning opportunities in a number of educational settings. Kimberley is committed to clear and personable communication and excels at divergent and creative thinking.Her forward-thinking research into metacognition and child-centred learning has led to her presenting findings at a number of conferences across Europe and several publications in Educational Journals.Most recently she has started ‘Holistic Learning’ (www.holisticlearning.co.uk); with a vision to facilitate the whole growth of learners, instead of only emphasising specific parts of the human experience.
