This assignment also provided the opportunity to facilitate and teach monthly self-reliance strategies and demonstrate the value of having a plan, assessing real needs and how data can drive momentum and success. Working as the local Chairman of the National Reflections Art Contest for Buckingham Elementary, with community wide competition and recognition, confirmed that championing and giving others the opportunity to explore their potential and talents can ignite growth and confidence in individuals.
