Experienced and confident at C-Suite and Board Level.I serve as a NED at Pepper Money UK, where I sit on the Board, Reward Committee, Board Audit Committee, and Board Risk Committees. I focus on Technology, Cybersecurity, Non-Financial Risk, Operations, and Global Delivery. My role involves ensuring that Pepper is positioned to navigate the complexities of today’s technological and operational challenges and remain within corporate and FCA governance. Previously the CTO at Experian UK leading their Engineering and Operations teams of over 1200 people in their Consumer business delivering 100’s of products on a 24x7 basis. I transformed the organization into a team based, product focussed, outcome measured, business unit. I set up a team of 150 people in India who became an integral part of the Product domains. I delivered security remediation programmes moving off legacy in house authentication protocols to industry standards. I moved the batch products off the mainframe into AWS, improving the batch products and lowering the price points. We acquired 3 businesses which were successfully integrated into Experian.I have a well-developed personal and cultural radar which allows me to engage across organizations with cultural dexterity. I was the Exec Sponsor for the LGBTQ+ employee group at Experian and included in the top 100 most influential LGBT executives globally by the FT / Outstanding. This passion for Diversity and Inclusion extends to other groups.Delivered change more than £100m annually whilst maintaining service levels for core operations systems including Risk, Finance, Collections, Documents Services, and Rectifications.Developed strategic relationships with contract negotiations up to £60m both as a service and software provider and as a customer.Significant M&A transaction experience including acquisitions (Paydashboard) divestments (TSB Bank), carve-outs (Ringfencing), TSA exit management, (Lloyds Bank) that maximise value & mitigate risks that can reduce a deals’ expected synergies.I was previously a Trustee and Chair of a charity supporting young people and am active Observer for the IAM Roadsmart charity.
