The product ‘Better Driver’ follows a risk and reward strategy, with the ethos of rewarding drivers with weekly treats if they display safe driving skills. As the first insurance product to use Bluetooth to track driving behaviour by using the customer’s smartphone as a black box, many of the challenges faced were unique to this product, and required a think on your feet approach to the management strategy.

Duties included handling both internal social traffic in the form of customer queries, and developing a social media strategy the company would adopt.
