As part of the KION group headquartered in Germany, and working in unison with Dematic USA, the organisation operates in a large matrix structure.My role as HR Director provides vision, leadership and strategic direction across the growing ANZ business (750 FTE) and HR function. Partnering with the ANZ Managing Director, Leadership Team and leading a team of HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Partners, Payroll and HR Coordinators I am responsible for driving the strategic direction of our HR initiatives, ensuring they align with our company's goals and culture. My role encompasses leadership in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and development programs, with a strong focus on fostering an inclusive and high-performing work environment. I lead a dynamic team in delivering key HR projects, including complex restructures, negotiations, and employee relations, while championing ethical practices and continuous improvement. A critical part of my role is building and nurturing leadership capabilities across all levels, ensuring our people are supported, empowered, and equipped to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.Key Achievements:* Continuing to increase Employee Engagement Scores to 80% +* Creating and driving an Early Talent Strategy which resulted in;- Implementing a national Apprentice Program, going from 0 to 28 apprentices in 18 months- Creating internships in STEM business functions- Doubling the number of graduate positions in STEM business functions- Participation in the UTS Lucy Mentoring Program
