Hi I am Kimberlie, I am an Anthropology student stationed at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History assisting in the Physical Anthropology department. I assist with collections, cataloging data, and photographing specific collection items as well as helping visiting researchers with their projects. I recently transfered as a Fossil Preparator with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. I worked in the field and at the lab preparing specimens for our museum paleontologists research, and preparing fossils for display. I am also a Freelance photographer and videographer. I work freelance for myself and also along side my husband filming and Photographing for our production company American Natural History unit and photographing as an assistant camera personnel for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Spirit of The Wild youtube channel, and NDLB. I Have experience in wildlife photography, Travel photo journalism, architectural and real estate, portrait and family photography, high fashion and landscapes. This sets me up to be available for various different styles when working with cameras. I am also a Board member of HCI, a non profit reptile conservation helping to preserve wildlife habitats and I am a Board member of Aya Serpent Foundation. My passion for wildlife of all kinds has lead me down a path of my own observation and citizen science research on species of all kinds, focusing majority on reptiles but I also have a deep love for the study of mammals and botany. My biggest goal is to make sure that the habitats of all animals are protected as much as possible around the world so that we can better serve the lifespan of this planet and the species that live here. My study of the Past world and its patterns helps me greatly in finding solutions to our future welfare of this planet. I work along side Tribal leaders from the Yawanawa tribe of the Brazilian Amazon understanding the people who still cultivate ancient ways of living and how we can connect ancient knowledge with new world ideas to find environmental solutions. I am dedicated to protecting and helping to preserve this knowledge, language and way of life for the people of the Amazon and the world as this ensures a better future for children to come who will be the stewards of this planet.
