Quality Assurance Manager for the state’s forensic laboratory. Oversee all aspects of the quality management system for eight locations across the state. Responsibilities include, but not limited to managing a document cobtrol system for all policies and procedures, internal and external audits, proficiency test program, CAPA and calibration of all critical equipment. Manage the accreditation program for the laboratory system with ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). Accredited to ISO 17025 and ANAB supplemental requirements specific to forensic laboratories.

In charge of the overall quality of a environmental chemistry laboratory. Maintain all document control, state and national certifications. Perform internal audits and enforce any regulatory changes made by the state DEP and/or EPA. Oversee method detection limit studies, Precision and Accuracy studies, external audits, corrective actions and all proficiency testing/DMR-QA studies for the laboratory. Developed the laboratory's data deliverable packages to accommodate EPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP), NY Analytical Service Protocol (ASP) and NJ Full & Reduced Data Deliverables. Review Quality Assurance Project Plans to ensure the laboratory can meet all QA/QC requirements set for a specific project. Conduct new employee and annual Ethics and Data Integrity Training. Validate Data going to clients when needed.

Analyzed, processed and uploaded soil, water and air samples for Volatile Organic Compounds using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry technology. Performed method detection limit studies, precision and accuracy studies and calibrated the instruments as necessary. Performed preventive maintenance and preparation of standards. Maintained the departments sample backlog and made sure all samples were assigned and run within hold time. Manager reviewed data and served as the back up for the department manager.
