I am Kimberly Adeoti, a first-class graduate in Civil Engineering from Covenant University, Nigeria, and currently a master’s student in Environmental Engineering at the University of Georgia, with a specialized focus on air quality. Driven by a commitment to excellence, I approach each academic and professional challenge with a detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to collaborate and take initiative.In my Advanced Environmental Air Quality coursework, I analyzed complex events with atmospheric impacts, such as international conflicts and major wildfires, assessing their immediate and long-term health effects. This experience refined my teamwork and communication skills, as I collaborated closely with peers to discuss solutions and efficiently delegate tasks. My Graduate Research Assistant role further honed my research, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills as I worked on a socio-economic study of prescribed fires in the Southeastern U.S., contributing to a joint research paper and leading data collection for longitudinal studies on black carbon. As the first master's student in my Principal Investigator’s lab, I demonstrated initiative by independently setting up equipment and managing critical tasks.My volunteer work with organizations like Enactus Covenant University, Envisage Hub, Charis Care, and the Cassava Waste Utilization Project reflects my dedication to creating sustainable, community-focused solutions. I am excited to bring my collaborative spirit, organizational strengths, and technical expertise to roles where I can make a meaningful impact on environmental and social challenges.
