The project had 251 shallow piezometer and 27 surface water site locations. Hourly water level and temperature was collected for a period of 5 years. Responsibilities included: • Installation and data collection from In Situ Level Trolls. • Development of a post-processing script for barometric pressure correction. • Management and analysis of data using USGS database, excel, and Matlab. • Co-authored two USGS Scientific Investigative Report (in-review). • Presented a professional talk at the New Mexico Water Resource Research Institute conference.East Mountain Stream Project, New Mexico (2009-2010) The goal of this project was to estimate mountain recharge using isotopic analysis of stream water samples. Responsibilities included:• Continuous stream monitoring of ephemeral streams in the Sandia and Manzano Mountains, east of Albuquerque, NM. • Collection of water samples and flow rates quarterly.• Analysis of laboratory results• Drafted client memos and field reports.East Mountain Septic Tank Project, Albuquerque, NM (2010-2011) The goal of this project was to monitor septic tank return flow, in order to quantify recharge and evapotranspiration contributed by East Mountain residences via their septic tank use. Responsibilities included:• Installation a basic meteorological station at two East Mountain residences. • Performed site-specific field work and analyzed meteorological station data. • Used ArcGIS to create site location maps.
