Kim will serve the Allegany County region for IncubatorWorks by engaging in community outreach to encourage and develop small business growth. She will provide mentorship services as well as business resources such as Co.Starters; an 11-week business class. Kim will be working collaboratively with Alfred State College, Alfred University, and Houghton College to encourage students to think entrepreneurially and assist with startups. IncubatorWorks Alfred also works closely with the Allegany County IDA, Accord, and Western NY Incubator Network.

• Sales Manager at the upscale hotel in downtown Rochester with 460 guestrooms and 17,000 square feet of banquet space with an additional 100,000 at the connected convention center. • Booked room blocks for groups over 40 rooms, along with catering and event space for the Sports, Military, Government, Entertainment, Religious, Fraternal, and Hobby group markets.• Booked all Bus Tours for seniors, students, and international clients. • Initiated, developed and implemented marketing promotions. • Completed and exceeded solicitation goals of over 25 phone calls per week to prospective clients. • Worked closely with Visit Rochester primarily with the Travel and Tourism department. Completed a number of trips to different cities and regional areas to promote Rochester as well as the Hyatt. • Presented to boards of organizations like NYS Chapters of Kiwanis and Lions Club to book their future annual meetings in Rochester. • Consistently met and surpassed my group goals for guest rooms each quarter.
