With a background in mental health and social work, I pursued a career in education later in life. I earned a Master's in exceptional education in 2010. After participating in Writing Project at WKU during the summer of 2012, a life-changing experience, I am happily pursuing a life-long dream of writing. Though children's literature is not what I expect to be my primary genre, a trilogy of children's stories that are close to the heart of my family have had to spill out first. My "Bear" books are available on Amazon, as well as my novels: Until Death Parts, Life Goes On, Go Forth and Multiply, and Pickin' Up the Pieces. Other works of fiction are in progress.
