• Oversaw all marketing responsibilities for Oregon properties: Bridgeport Village (Tigard, OR), Nyberg Woods (Tualatin, OR), Nyberg Rivers (Tualatin, OR) as well as oversight of marketing programs for Washington properties including: The Village at Totem Lake (Kirkland, WA), The Trails at Silverdale (Silverdale, WA) and Valley Mall (Union Gap, WA). • Created and executed events & programming that supported key retail; provided training & support to center teams for execution across the PNW property portfolio. Responsibilities expanded into the Bay Area, CA in 2021; played a key role on the transition team during the purchase of Bay Street Emeryville and ongoing development after the sale.• Grew retailer participation and nurtured relationships among tenants, sponsors, vendors, influencers, and colleagues. Engagement rate in marketing programming grew significantly at Bridgeport Village (particularly in the digital/social media aspect) including key brands: Pendleton, LUSH, Eileen Fisher, Sephora, MAC, Anthropologie & more (the summer of 2020 had a record high of 60 unique tenants participating).• Orchestrated the development of marketing strategies, lead teams in the execution of quantifiable marketing programs, and ensured that overall marketing platforms were implemented correctly, and accommodated local issues or sensitivities. • Awarded an ICSC Maxi Silver Award in 2019 for the category “Impact” for innovative marketing practices using video and social media to engage the local community and named a finalist in 2020 the submission of a summer event series for the “Experiential” category in the virtual awards competition.• Successfully recruited, hired, managed, and retained 10+ Marketing Managers– all achieving positive results for the company in multiple markets; reduced marketing expenses by 20% without negatively impacting the consumer or tenant experience (2019 and 2020). Assisted in achieving over $250,000 in sponsorship agreements/leases.
