My background includes 20+ years in trauma and emergency medicine. My career in the medical field began in 1996 as a Paramedic in Waco, TX with a high trauma based patient care. I continued my education and graduated with my associates in nursing in 2000 where I worked in trauma ICU and emergency medicine and then as a travel nurse for 5 years in emergency and ICU. I finally settled back down in Houston where I completed by BSN, MSN, Family nurse practitioner, and post masters in emergency medicine at UTHSC- Houston. During my 20+ year career in Emergency medicine I have held leadership positions, have received awards for my professionalism, and patient care. I am a candidate with excellent patient care, mentor-ship capabilities, and leadership skills. I am very passionate about the medical field and strive for excellence in everything I do.
