I worked in project management for 4 years for Shell Oil company as a construction engineer. This job required excellent organization and communication skills, as well as utilizing the Mechanical Engineering skills I developed in school. At Nalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals, I was in more of a sales/consulting position. I used my Engineering skills for consulting Ethylene Chemical plants to operate more efficiently, while using my people skills and sales skills to sell chemicals. This required excellent customer service skills to keep these customers happy and satisfied. I worked in the computer software industry briefly as a salesman, until I had my first child in April, 2001. In my haitus from working, I was very active in my community, volunteering with PTO's and as a board member for two different schools, and currently serve as a board member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Lake Travis and the Young Mens Service League. December of 2019, I started working again as a shipping and quality control specialist for Perfect Etch, which is a company based in the Lake Travis area that specializes in etching Yeti tumblers.
