I work for the Auxiliary Payroll and Personal Services at the University of California, Riverside. As a student assistant, some of the tasks I am response for are interviewing and hiring students for departments within auxiliary services. I am also responsible for checking students in during their onboarding appointment and teaching them all the training, payroll, and scheduling portals that they will need to know for their positions. In this position I use physical filing systems, and am familiar with using a virtual database, Kronos, WhentoWork, and Work Front.

As a sales associate at Rite Aid I was a cashier who also worked at the ice cream station back and forth. I would be assigned to build end caps, work load days, and reorganize the entirety of the back room physically and in the computer system. I would be responsible for managerial tasks when on shift managers would go on their breaks. I also worked on putting up and taking down new add each week. For this position, communication was key between my fellow associates and my managers and I always ensured my tasks were completed the best they could be done.
