-Coordinates events for students who identify as Chicanx and/or Latinx in hopes to initiate a sense of belonging and cultural affirmation that will allow for educational retention at the university.-Created publicity materials like flyers, banners, brochures, press releases and online newsletters using various computerized mediums to promote El Centro events.-Facilitated workshops on topics focusing on topics such as how to sexual reproduction and stigmas for women of color -Lead a committee of Academic Student Interns by drawing out the the skills and talents of the team so that we can prepare and execute annual events, such as Dia De los Muertos in a timely manner.-Organized events that had an attendance of about 300 students that helped cultivate a sense of belonging through Latinx/Chicanx traditions. -Planned logistical details for events such as coordinating volunteers, conducting student committee meetings, creating performance timelines, and outreach to vendors for catering needs.
