There’s two things you need to know about me. One, that I really care and two, I’m tenacious. That's how I ended up owning and running a fitness studio. I wanted to make a difference in people's lives.What's interesting, is I had no prior experience in running a business, I was new to the fitness industry and it was 2008. I didn’t let this stop me. Instead I ended up being one of 3% of small business owners to manage a profitable fitness studio for over 10 years. Talking about facing challenges, when I became the President of my local Rotary club of 8 members, I was tasked with not only growing the club to 20 members, but I had to run a massive fundraiser that required a lot of manpower. We won two awards that year; one, for the most money raised for clubs under 20 members and two, for the largest member growth of all the clubs.By now you can see that I like a challenge, so I decided I was going to learn how to navigate the online space. Here, I not only learned how to build websites and sales funnels, but I was able to create an email list of 800+ subscribers in 4 months, which had a 22% conversion rate in sales in an industry where the average is 5.8%.You can see that I am a problem solver, a leader and an entrepreneur who is really into building the customer experience. My career has allowed me to cultivate a wide range of business skills including sales management, business development, marketing, forecasting and social media. I have learned to be a critical thinker, a data analyst and to think outside the box. All of these things have allowed me to create positive change in the world around me.
