-Responsible for long- and short-term forecast planning of engine overhaul shop visits to MROs once engines have reached LLP limits-Update of weekly forecasting models that incorporates planned and unplanned removals, for optimal engine sparing level planning-Project Management (PM) of QEC swaps and installations, including contract negotiations, logistics coordination, and any conflict resolution during shop visit process-Performs value-adding financial analyses of potential engine overhaul program changes, including the addition of new vendors and any changes to contract terms-Research and analysis of end of life assets to best generate profit and cost savings to organization, including determining best ways to monetize any remaining parts for residual value and reducing overall Net Book Value (NBV) of assets-Effectively maintains relationships inter-departmentally as well as with external vendors, MROs, and clients-Led multi-million-dollar initiative to procure full Quick Engine Change (QEC) kits to ensure all engine spares were fully operational in order to maintain recommended engine sparing levels-Promoted organization’s focus and values through creative initiatives targeted to maximize the useful life of assets-Assisted with selection process of dedicated MRO vendor for engine overhaul shop visits through cost-benefit analysis-Supported airline transition from MD80 fleet to Airbus fleet through engine asset management and accurate engine records tracking
